The
Bhaktivedanta DVD Library Series
|

Nectarian interviews of devotees who have had personal
association with His Divine Grace, A. C. Bhaktivedanta
Swami. Their stories provide insight into the personality
and qualities of Srila
Prabhupada, as well as revealing many
instructions never before heard or written. When
you watch these videos you will experience both
laughter and tears as you feel personally connected
to Srila Prabhupada.
After
thirteen years of Siddhanta dasa video recording
and editing devotee interviews, the Memories videos
now have over 42 parts with more parts in development
at his Illumination Television studios.
Interviews with Srila Prabhupada's disciples
reveal
many sides to His Divine Grace, including
poignant
serious moments and light hearted humorous pastimes.
A good example is Part
27 with Shyamasundar dasa. You'll laugh
and cry as Shyamasundar prabhu takes you through some
of the most wonderful pastimes in Srila Prabhupada's
and ISKCON's glorious past.
Attached
to most devotees names is a short quote from their
interview. The over 160 different devotee quotes
of their experiences and associations are a joy
to read, such as the time Srila Prabhupada performed
Yamuna
dasi's marriage ceremony. Coming in
2005 we will attach more streaming video and audio
quotes to many devotees, so you will be able to
read one quote and watch and listen to others.

With
the three part Best
Of series you'll see the best selected
parts of all the Memories. Over 100 of the best interviews,
and you can spend hours with your friends and family,
as disciples of His Divine Grace give recollections
of their association with their spiritual master.
My
first contact with the Hare Krishna movement came
in the summer of 1969 when I saw its members chanting
on the streets of Hollywood. My initial reaction to
the shaven heads, saffron-colored robes and seemingly
strange activity was one of bewilderment and, to some
degree, comic relief. It was not until a year later
that I was able to appreciate the sound philosophy
which stems from one of the world's oldest religious
traditions, as explained in their Back
to Godhead magazine. I soon realized that
there was a tremendous wealth of knowledge and logic
behind the activities of the International Society
for Krishna Consciousness, and that it was far from
being a new "hippie" cult. In fact, the
information contained in that first magazine concisely
answered all the questions I ever had regarding life,
its purpose and more.<read
