When I see these videos, its like having Srila Prabhupada's association again. Not only is it a living testimony of the remarkable transcendental personality of Srila Prabhupada, but we are also reminded of the wonderful association of our Godbrothers. These video remembrances make our short time with Srila Prabhupada seem so real and personal. We are reminded again and again that not only was he the Founder-Acarya, but also our loving father and humorous best friend. The association of a pure devotee is exceedingly rare and unique. Whatever we can do to capture the experience for future generations is an invaluable service.

I don't have much time to sit and watch the videos one after another, but the Memories books are wonderful. I have taken one volume with me each of my last two trips overseas. I am not a big reader, but the Memories Volumes are so special. I love to read the Memories book on the plane, to read a bit at night just before I take rest, to read a page while my computer is booting up, and to read it during the evening classes I have been asked to give. The best thing about it, is how it reveals different devotees' inner personal experiences of Srila Prabhupada. As time goes by, there are fewer and fewer devotees left among us who had these face to face exchanges. Soon there will be none at all. The Memories books will help future generations to understand the sweet and loving side of Prabhupada that his books only hint at. I especially relish how the devotees reveal Srila Prabhupada's care, concern and compassion for each and every one of his disciples, and the people he met. These books reveal to us that Prabhupada was not stereotyped. Nor was he harsh or uncompromising in his unending effort to attract everyone he met to Krishna. And his humor! Prabhupada's books again hint at his humor, but the Memories Series reveals a deep and humorous side to our spiritual master. By reading these books, one's love of Prabhupada can only increase many fold. I am one of the last group of devotees to be directly initiated by Prabhupada. I was never able to take a morning walk, to have a personal darshan, or to offer personal service. Yet, for myself and for generations of other devotees to follow, these books reveal an intimate picture of our acarya that we hankered for, yet time prevented us. By revealing this deep understanding of Prabhupada, and making it available to all; by capturing individual disciple's most intimate and heart-filled memories of their dear most friend and guide; and by assuring that Prabhupada goes down in history not just as a teacher, but as a loving friend and guide to all he met--you have done great, great service to the Vaishnava community, and to all who seek to understand God and His message. Thank you.

I've always loved the Memories videos. Hearing from the devotees about their experiences with Srila Prabhupada has never failed to increase my faith in His Divine Grace and the simple but sublime process he gave us. Then recently I read in Sanatana Goswami's commentary on Brhat Bhagavatamrta that one of the most important means for increasing one's faith is to hear other's testimonials about how they came upon the path of devotion and were inspired to take it up. It's clear to me that your Memories of Srila Prabhupada videos should be a staple for anyone wishing to advance in Krsna consciousness. Thanks for all your hard work in producing these gems.
